In loving memory of Cavan Peart who sadly passed away on 12th April 2020
Cav was a wonderful, kind, fun loving man who I am proud to have called my husband. He leaves four fantastic sons Gareth, Cyril, Edward and Douglas, two grandsons Ethan and Jacob and granddaughters April and Molly, all of whom he was extremely proud. He also leaves a younger sister Alison and Claire and Luke, niece and nephew.
Born in Wales, he served in the RAF as an Aircraft Engineer, travelling the world with postings that include Falklands and Croatia, he also played regularly in a military band. Following that, he filled similar roles working in Oman for Airwork and Saudi Arabia for BAE. Being in Oman gave him the opportunity to take up scuba diving, which he greatly enjoyed. Taking early retirement meant he could travel extensively, both in the U.K. and worldwide, visiting places like Cuba and Argentina and old favourites The Algarve and Cyprus. He fitted well into the village community on his return from the Middle East and took great pleasure in his fruit and veg garden and making very good sloe and rhubarb gin!
Popular with everyone who met him, it can be agreed unanimously- he liked a pint!

This was shared to another site by Cav's friend Chris Hughes. It is Cav's leaving do from Masirah Island, Oman in 2008, taken at the Pool Bar of the Sargeant's Mess.

Cav, front and centre, as always when help was needed. God bless you my friend and rest in peace.
Absolutely love this photo of both of us, taken at Gaz and Rachel's wedding on a gloriously hot, perfect summers day! 😍
Anything but normal! 😘
Very potent Long Island Teas on our first visit to The Algarve on our last night at Lords Bar, huge hangover the next day!
