Mel was a much loved figure as I spent countless hours with Bev over in Stillington. Uncle Mel always had a cheeky smile on his face, and had a wicked sense of humour. He knew how to pull someone's leg for sure! Mel was much loved by his family. He was a major part of all their lives, especially those he lived with. I know he will be missed by each and every one of you. He will be missed by the countless other lives he came into contact with too. I will be thinking of Mel, Pam, (and Cyril), Sharon, Gary, Bev, Barry and all your families, especially on Thursday, and will be tuning in to be with you from afar. Till you meet again xxxx
