In loving memory of Melvyn Neil McCulloch who sadly passed away on 20th April 2020.
An amazing husband to my mum of almost 38 years this year. Loving father to Cheri, Neil, Jason and Jordan. He had 7 grandchildren who loved him very much
He was always laughing and smiling, and making everyone else laugh and smile and that's how he would want to be remembered. We will miss him very much, rest in peace we love you so much. XXXX

Dad ( the poem I read at my dads funeral for those who could not be there xx)

I'm standing here on such a sad day, because the illness you had took you away.

There are so many things I'll miss about you, even the smallest things remind me of you.

I'll miss your smile
I'll miss your jokes
You made everyone laugh each time you spoke.

Ill miss how you cheered when your sports team always won, and how you'd shout "YOU REDS!" when ever it was done.

I'll miss how you'd work long hours and still come home and play, I think about those fun times every single day.

I'll miss how you'd take mum to work and surprise us with fun, playing games on Wollaton park for hours in the sun.

All the places you took us, all the things that you showed, will be forever in my memory untill i grow old.

Ill miss all the facts that you told because you was clever, for example I'll remember that male seahorses give birth not females... forever.

I'll miss all the places you took us to see, and how you'd stop every 5 mins to have a cup of tea.

I'll miss all the storys you'd tell to the end, about all the pranks you pulled on your friends.

You had so many talents, you could drive and decorate and when it came to cooking your stew tasted great.

In my eyes there wasn't anything you couldnt do, and thats why... I'll always look up to you.

Thank you for my childhood and all the fun times we had, thank you for being there and.... for being my dad.

I love you
I miss you
Your forever in my heart ♥
And with these memories were never far apart xxx
