I am so sad to hear the news of Nigel's passing, I worked with him over 30 years ago, he was one of the nicest men, I feel honoured to have known him and call him my friend. Nigel's love for Kathy, his children family and friends was the essence of the man. Nigel was such a loyal, kind, funny, truly wonderful person. I will miss him God Bless.
May Gods comfort and peace be with all those who are grieving for you.

Such a kind, friendly and genuine man. A true gentleman of the game who’s passion for football and personality was infectious. He always saw the funny side of things and never failed to have a joke with the lads. You will be missed by all that you touched and knew. My deepest condolences to all his family during this sad time.

I have so many fond childhood memories of Nige, and although the less of him I saw the older I got, he was always the same sociable, chatty, football loving, joker that never failed to make us laugh. This place won’t be the same with out you! Rest in peace Nigel. All our love Haylie, Ross, Joe and Jack xXx

There are very few people who have such a huge impact on so many people like Nigel has. Nigel was the best manager to our group back in the 90s, kind, caring and always up for a laugh. He was a huge influence on my life, both personally & professionally and I will never forget him.
My heart goes out to Kathy and his family x
