In loving memory of Mary Elizabeth Rafrafi who so sadly passed away on 24th April 2020.
Mary was born to William and Patricia Leddy in Nottingham on 2nd June 1953. She was one of three daughters.
A free spirit she always recited tales of her childhood holidays running free at the family farm in Ireland.
She grew up in Arnold alongside her best friend and lifelong confidant Robbie.
In 1978 whilst living and working in Belgium she married Adel Rafrafi in Brussels, which was followed by the birth of their daughter Farrah in 1984.
Later in life she was a loving and thoughtful Nani to her two grandchildren.
Her incredible warmth and love touched everyone she met and her unwavering adoration for animals was known to all.
An amazing woman full of Irish charm, wit and kindness. Her insights into astrology would fascinate all and create lively debates.
A very much loved Wife, Mum and Nani. We will hold you in our hearts forever and never let go.

I am writing this on behalf of all Maureen’s old school friends. We all got together after many years and had some lovely meals together catching up. So we were very upset to hear that Maureen had passed away. We all remember as such a lovely caring person and friend. We would have all liked to attend the Funeral but realise at this time we would not be allowed. We are going to meet up afterwards and raise a glass to Maureen and have a collection. Our thoughts are with you all. Love from All the old Arnold girls. Rest in peace Maureen. Love Avril and friendsxx
