Uncle Alf was a great man. He spent many hours helping people and organising things for their enjoyment and benefit. Thoughts are with his family.

Lasting fond memories of Alf, from treating me as a member of the family to attempting to teach me to drive ( that one didn’t end so well! ) Wonderful holidays and serving on the alter at my wedding. Overwhelmingly he taught me that faith is a living thing that meant when he saw someone in need, his response was to help.
Love to the entire family.

When I think of Uncle Alf, I’m taken back to spending my Saturday afternoons in the 70’s and 80’s watching Notts from the County Road side, followed by Sunday mornings serving on the altar at St Bernadette’s. Happy memories. Uncle Alf will be missed.

Deepest sympathy to Brenda, Denise, Mark, Martin and all the extended Jackson family.
Lovely memories of Alf and the family when growing up on Greenwood Ave.
Particularly grateful to Alf for his energy, work and commitment to running St Pat's Youth Club which was a great gathering space for so many of us, and gave us a great grounding!
Bless you and may you rest in Peace Alf.

God bless Uncle Alf. There are many good memories especially our joint family holiday to Cornwall in 76, family gatherings and always meeting up at Notts in the middle of the Roadside. RIP.
