Stephen John Davis (28 Apr 1961 - 17 Apr 2020)

A life cut far too short.I shall greatly miss our endless discussions on music.I can't imagine anyone managing the last months of their life in such an astoundingly stoic and positive manner.A lesson to us all.

Taken far too young, rest in peace.

I only got to know you in recent years, Steve, as your retirement roughly coincided with mine and more bell ringing opportunities arose. I enjoyed ringing with you and you were always very easy going and sociable when having a post peal pint! So sad and sorry that your retirement has been cruelly cut short. Rest in peace. Nick

Stephen will be gretly missed from the wide circle of bell ringers who knew him. He was always kind, cheery and a surefooted ringer. I will miss his good company.

My condolences to Steve's Friends and Family at this difficult time which is unfortunately made more difficult by the current situation.
Steve put up a good and impressive fight and was inspirational with his positive attitude.

Steve, you were an amazing, warm-hearted man, with a delightfully dry sense of humour. I have happy memories of our long, gossip-filled meals. Thank you for your friendship and for introducing me to Corfu! You were taken from us far too soon by this cruel disease and tragically robbed of a longer retirement. We all miss you, Steve xx

Always a good friend, so many people grateful for your help with bellringing. Have known you since you used to cycle to Bethersden Practice nights as a teenager, and since rung many quarter peals.
