It is with great sadness to say that we lost our dear father (Henry John Hooper) the patriarch of our family, who was also a grandad, great grandad and great great grandad, on 22nd April 2020 aged 97. He is such an inspiration to us all, with his words of wisdom, kindness, modesty and strong family values, which we strive to uphold as his family today. We are so grateful for all the many memories we have of this true gentleman. Mum and Dad were married for 53 special, happy and amazing years. We express also our love at this sad time for Dad's beloved Mary, who were together in their love these past 19 years.

Dear Dad,
We are immensely proud to be your family, from your death defying 54 Bomber Command missions in World War 2, to your love of nature and poetry that we have inherited from you. As you have always said to us and still do:
"We all make a good team". And to echo your final words, which you say to us now...“Love you lots” xxx
