I will always remember Alan he was always very good to me. I feel forMargaret Jean,Steve and their families as I know this will leave a large void in their lives. Good night and God bless Alan.

In memory of Alan, a life-long friend of my father, John, and in more recent years of my mother, Pearl, my brother and me. I will remember Alan's dry wit and his jokes, usually delivered with a dead-pan expression, with fondness. Deepest condolences to Margaret and to the rest of Alan's family.

My Uncle Alan was a wonderful man who, along with Auntie Margaret, kept and eye on my sister and myself when we younger and this carried on with our children as he became a Great Uncle. His jokes were terrible and he could really pull your leg at times but he always made me smile and I feel lucky that I have very fond memories of such a good man. I will miss him but he still makes me smile. Yours, as ever, Simon
