Mums flowers for today. Thankyou to all those who attended Mums service vertually! We really all felt as though you were there with us in person. We will have a celebration of Mums life with you all once things are back to normal.

  • Yes, thank you all from the bottom of my heart too. It was so lovely to think of you all there watching with us, even though we couldn't be there either, it really made such a difference knowing you were thinking and remembering our beautiful mum at that moment. As Lis mentioned, I'll look forward to seeing you all at Mum's celebration, so we can finally come together and celebrate her life ... much love to you all. Em x

Sandy, in all the years we've known you, we've only seen your brave face and your lovely smile and your kindness to everyone.
We have so enjoyed the times we've spent with you and our holidays together - you loved to make a special occasion of everything, and especially afternoon tea!
You cared so deeply for your family and friends as we did for you, and we are better for having known you. You have been an inspiration and we will always remember you with love. Ann and Rob

Susie Quinn wrote

Sandy in her element, in her garden with the sherry to hand. The china cup and saucer with the cream tea is out of sight, along with the frogs. Sandy had grown the plants behind her from seed.
A kinder, braver, more compassionate person would be hard to find. No matter how much pain she was in, she would always smile and ask how you were. Sandy put her family first, second and third, the garden fourth, friends after that and herself ninety-ninth.
Sandy had a mischievous sense of humour and was a good and trustworthy friend. I think of her every time I go into the garden. I miss putting the world to rights with her but I am pleased she is at peace now and without pain.
