Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Western General Hospital, on Wednesday, May, 6, 2015, Sam, beloved husband of Angela, loving dad of Stuart, Ralph and Fiona, adored granddad and great-granddad of his eight grandchildren, loving brother of Ian, Malcolm and the late Willie and Jean. Sam was adored and loved by his family and friends and will be sadly missed. A funeral mass will take place at St Ninian & Triduana RC Church, Marionville Road, on Saturday, May 16, at 10 am, thereafter Sam will be laid to rest at Piershill Cemetery. Flowers if desired to Porteous Funeral Directors, 72-74 Leith Walk, Edinburgh, EH6 5HB, Tel 0131 554 1113. There will be a collection at the church in aid of Haematology & Oncology departments at the Western General Hospital, in Sam's memory. RIP
