Manel, you were kind and fun to work with during my couple of years on Vernon Ward at St George's in the late 90s. You taught me useful things too. I hope you're still travelling. Shantih.

My dear colleague Manel I miss you very much especially on Tuesdays when we used to have our lunch break together in the staff room watching Loose Women on TV.
I didn't know Manel for a long time but I knew about her love for travelling around the globe which she shared with me her experiences, joy about her trips around the globe. Showed me some photos of amazing sites in the world from her mobile phone which I could only dream of. Also photos of her beautiful and loved garden which brought her joy and happiness.
She also loved nice food and dinning out a lot.
Manel worked by the rules and regulations, professional and not afraid to say what needed to be said included leaving notes reminding colleagues of mistakes and anything that was not acceptable which was annoying at times, she meant well and that's her. Manel was kind and caring in her own way and may she RIP.

How can even begin to describe what Manel my dearest Best friend meant to me. We did our nursing training together 1971. Traveled many places far and near, went to India with my children Sanjeet and Preet. Had fantastic time traveling going to Punjab, Taj Mahal to Rishikesh. Many Europe trips and to China during SARS virus. Always going to garden shows.. the list is endless. What a kind, generous, loving and caring human being...One in million? Manel I salute you for living your life to the fullest, come what may you were always positive. May Baba ji give everyone to cope with a great loss. 🙏
