Jessie Ann Carroll (6 Jan 1935 - 30 Mar 2020)

Our lovely wee mum Jessie Ann Carroll gave up the fight and left us on Monday, 30th March 2020. We were all around her, as we were with dad, and had the opportunity to tell her how much we loved her and how much we will miss her. Everything about her. Her smile, her laugh and her sense of fun.

A grafter all her life, mum looked after her wains and always put their needs before hers. A funny wee wummin, mum would think of any way she could to make people laugh. She's dressed up, dressed 'down' and generally loved acting the clown. Her laugh, her jokes and her happy, upbeat outlook on life often changed a depressing day for many folk, her wains included.

Mum has left a real sadness. A gap that will never be filled and it shouldn't be.

Some day, when all this Covid-19 lockdown is finally over, lets meet up and celebrate the life of one of God's own gifts. Our mum, sister and friend, Jessie. Till we meet again mum. x
