So much to say about the man and so sad at his passing. Sadly I don't like writing about people, so there's not much to say about his poems, his strength, his wit, his humour, his messy working, his amazing productivity, how easy it was to wind him up at work, how good he was at winding people up at work. John was, I think, the best person I ever worked with. A great friend over many years. What I remember him for the most? His singing, John and I sang together at work for so many years, we may not have been the best, but we gave it our all and those days my friend will never be forgotten.
