R.I.P. Dot. Thank you for welcoming me into your family those years ago and for the fun we’ve had over most of the time since then. I particularly remember you embarrassing the waitress and chef in Ambleside when you asked if the Cumberland sausage had been served with Viagra! Your spontaneous wit carried on to the end.

Dear nan. Thank you for all the love care and guidance over the last 30 years. Most of my favourite memories are from being with you gramps. I will miss your sense of humour and always trying to find the funny side of any situation. Your get up and go attitude was second to none and I was so proud to see you still splashing around at aqua in your 80's.
Go and be a peace with gramps which is were you are destined to be.

Dearest Dot thanks for all the fun and good times we shared, I remember you wanted to knit the aqua ladies swimming costumes, too many happy times to recall here. Thanks also for introducing me to the beloved Arena family and then some of your wonderful family. I’ll always remember you with massive warmth in the heart and a smile on my face. The Queen of one liners!!

Thank you Nan for all the wonderful experiences we had together. Your memories, of everyone you loved in life, were so precious to you. They were the treasures you loved to share (often many times!). We'll keep them with us and share them for you now. X

It was a real pleasure to be one of Dots many friends. She was a real character with a tremendous humour! We will remember all the great times we had with her - full of fun and laughter. Safe with Ted now. God Bless
