Subject: A tribute to uncle jon

Hey afternoon Auntie Di & Boys
Sending our sincere condolences and warmest love to you all..
We wanted to share our memories with all of you.
Three separate stories which made us laugh and smile .
LOOK AT THE STARS JON.
Over the years we have had many laughs with uncle jon. Di and jon visited us in cornwall for many holiday breaks.
One special occasion- Vicky's 50th birthday party . Jon was asked to come outside and look at the stars ,little did he know that bill had smeared black boot polish around the binoculars. In true good sport jon placed the binoculars up towards his eyes. Leaving him with thick black circles around his eyes he just laughed.
DARE DEVIL JON
Yet another holiday in cornwall Di and Jon visited porthleven. The pier is a narrow strip where the waves crash over both sides . Jon was fascinated by this not phased by the danger he wanted to walk along the pier he was soaked just like a big kid at heart fearless but determined.
GOT MY OWN BACK
Lastly jon always had a great sense of humour for Bill's birthday one year jon bought bill a bottle of walkers whisky .How generous we all thought . Later that evening bill opened the whisky only to realise it was a bottle of strong cold tea - Gotcha !
Rest in peace old pal ..just one more thing ..
"Who's gonna look after the shop "
Until we meet again love from all of us Bishops in Cornwall x
I thought I would send this to you first if you wanted to read it out that's entirely up to you or just keep .
Love
Vicky, Bill, Jane & Samantha
