My dear Uncle Ken,
I hope you had a the perfect send off that you deserved. Sorry that we could not attend. You have been in my thoughts all day.
You were one the most knowledgable men I have come across. I am very proud to have you as an uncle.
I know you was watching over me the day after you had passed when I was doing my maths exam. I know you would be so proud that I passed and I FINALLY grasped maths!
I will treasure our memories, many of them!
Rest peacefully with your darling wife Auntie Julie. Reunited in peace.
love you and will miss you dearly.
Always
Ellie x

Really struggled to know what to write to do Ken justice, think anyone who knew him would understand that. Don’t think I ever met anyone with as much knowledge, life experience, humour, wisdom and anecdotes who remained so unfailingly modest about everything he’d done. Above all, he was someone you could always rely on. I lost count of the number of times I heard him say to someone (myself included) “if there is any problem, I’ll jump in the car”! And he meant it, and frequently did. Rest in peace Ken, and thank you.

Ken was a great son in law, always ready to help others no matter where or wha t the problem was. He and Julie had a wonderful family andy true friends. To lose both Mum and Dad in just over a year is devastating, life can be so cruel but I am so proud oty and Leigh by the way they have arrangd eed everything. Ken now reunited with Julie. Rest peacefully together
