In loving memory of Gloria Green who sadly passed away on 27th March 2020
Gloria was born in Croydon on 16th November 1962, she was the first child to be born of Felix & Geslin Green in the UK, her older siblings were born in Jamaica and at the time of her birth they were still living in Jamaica.
Gloria had five brothers and five sisters, two of her brothers have now deceased.
Gloria spent all her life in Croydon, attending Davidson, Woodside and Ashburton School. She later went on to study Structural Engineering. A profession she held until weeks before her passing.
Gloria was a devote Christian, and a minster in the Ruach fellowship. Serving God was central to her life.
She was a loving mother and left behind four sons, Marvin, Lewis, Marshal & Marshama.
Gloria passed away on 27th March, having contacted the Coronavirus, at the time of her death she was one of one thousand that had been killed by the virus. At the time of writing this brief bio, she is now one of seven thousand.
There is an overwhelming sense of grief in the air around us.
We are extremely saddened at the loss of a wonderful, mother, minister, sister, auntie, cousin, friend and so much more.
We are reassured that she is at rest in the arms of our Lord.

I met Gloria around 20 years ago. Always found Gloria to be a warm friendly, jovial woman. Gloria will be immensely missed by everyone.
