In loving memory of Joyce Beresford who sadly passed away on 6th April 2020. Joyce was born in Hillstown, Derbyshire but went to school and lived in Blidworth Nottinghamshire until she married her beloved Ron they lived in Rainworth, Notts until they moved to Mablethorpe Lincs in the late 60s where they went into business running the sandtrain and a cafe on the seafront, to name just two.

Mum was a homemaker and devoted her life entirely to Ron, her two daughters, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She extended that love and care to her niece and nephew too. She was always there to offer help and advice, and particularly her love.

Her latter years were spent in Elizabeth Court Louth where she had many friends. However, sadly she needed 24hr. Nursing care for the last 10days and Stewton House Louth provided such excellent care for which we will always be thankful.

Joyce.you were more than a sister to me,you helped raise me during the long days of WW11 you were my friend & confidant; we shared so much & when Ron came into your life you blossomed, your love for beach other showed me the way to make a marriage work, Dorothy & I used that knowledge in our marriage. You were never far from our thoughts & we remained close. These last few years we know how much you missed Ron you were ready to join him & now together you can share that enduring love with all you meet. We shall always miss you but remain grateful for the life you had. Harold & Dorothy
