This is from Paul, titled
My Brother.
Long days playing together in the Brick Field , now Trading Estate. Catching slow worms & posting them through next door neighbour's letter box.
I remember he had a car accident on the way back from Leysdown, I went to see the car which was upside down in a ditch.Thankfully all ok.
We got much closer when he met Jackie, Sue , me & Kev, when they had the shop at Grovehurst.
Kevin worked with me at Faversham Brewery, I remember one day at work we were on the booze, & locked Lol William's in the site box, he was a big lump. Ha ha !!.
I remember going to Butlins & Pontins with all the kids , family & friends, great memories.
We both liked fishing days on the Admiral Pier, at Dover. Fishing for mackerel, then bringing the fish home & giving it to the old people in the bungalows. Where we lived at Dean Road. Great memories at this address, Digging grandad pushing his wheelbarrow over Bobbing Hill to his allotment ( bless him ).
Throwing water out the bathroom window soaking Dad, him shouting you Buggers.
Kevin didn't get over when Jackie died, at a young age.
They had a great daughter, Lydia, she has looked after him through his bad times. (Lydia thank you ) xxx
Kev met Jackie (2) who done him a world of good, she sorted him out.
( Jackie Thank you ) xx
They had many good years together, & had a son Conner.
Connor was a good footballer, he's dad was proud of him, for not only playing football, but the job he currently does in the Army.
I wont go into any more details about my brother in the last 2 years .
I want to remember him, the way he was, loved his football & his families, as we all loved him.
Rest in Peace Brother !!
Love Paul Xxxx
