Dear Lynn. I remember you from many times when I was younger and thankfully got the chance to see you again in February with Ant when you came to see mum. You were the kindest and most beautiful soul. Always bringing a smile to peoples faces. Mum truly loved you. I used to sit week after week when mum lived at home listening to your conversations with mum on the phone and she'd come off and say " our little Lynn" with such affection. Rest in peace sweet soul with all those gone before ❤️

In loving memory of Lynn Drakeford who sadly passed away on 11th March 2020
Lynn, you had such a hard start in life. A heavier cross to bear than most with your learning disability. Being away from us in the early days. I remember Mum and Dad asking if we wanted you to come back home to us. The answer was simple; ' Yes' . That’s where you belonged. Life with you was never dull as I grew up. You always looked out for us, as a big sister should.
You endured the loss of Geoff, Dad and then Mum. She was your rock and stability. Inseparable and loyal to one another through thick and thin. Then that stability was shattered, when in July 2017, Mum was taken into hospital with Alzheimer’s Disease.
You left the family home and neighbours, but took your memories. Wonderfully, you achieved Supported living and independence. Mum passed away during your time at Albert Ball House. As one life ended another had begun and continued to blossom ;yours. We were all, and continue to be so proud of you. Seeing your beaming smile and wave from your flat window was priceless. That I shall miss as well as your unconditional generosity and kindness.
Now you are reunited with Mum your soul mate, Dad and Geoff and all your family that have passed.
Good night, God bless Lynn.
Your loving brother, Ant X
