In loving memory of Paul Karslake FRSA who sadly passed away in the early hours of 23rd March 2020 at Southend Hospital. He had been taken by ambulance to A&E the morning before. Tragically no family members were allowed to be with him.
Paul will be desperately missed by his wife Sandra and son Ted, his sisters and brother and their children and grandchildren and all his extended family and friends.
Paul was an amazing man with a big heart and an incredible talent for his art.
He loved talking with people who immediately felt at ease in his presence and they enjoyed his intelligence, wicked wit and sense of humour. He always made time to help people and to stand and have a chat and share a joke.
He was passionate about cars, scooters and music - both listening to and playing music with his band - but most of all his art, with which he was highly successful.
The family have taken huge comfort from the sheer amount of letters, notes and cards received by them and the wonderful words written have helped Sandra and Ted cope during their time of grief, knowing how much Paul was loved, how he had touched people and how highly he was regarded.
There will never be another like Paul.
Rest in Peace our darling Husband and Father. We will always love you.

Family flowers only.
Should you feel the need to pay tribute to Paul, the family have chosen Little Havens as the charity to donate to in Paul's name. Paul was very involved with raising funds for Havens Hospices, and found Little Havens and their children inspiring.
Havens Hospices are a local charity which provides palliative nursing and supportive care to adults and children living with complex or incurable conditions.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful NHS for all they are doing at this incredibly difficult time.
We would also respectfully ask people to follow the Government and NHS guidelines to Stay at Home to protect ourselves and in doing so, to protect the incredible people who work for the NHS.
Thank You.
