OH
I am so sorry to learn so late that Art has passed on
Art and I were very close many years ago but business got between us - always
something I regreted but we had so many good times together
When I started work at MAT Art was the one who showed me the ropes etc always called the posh kid from Chigwell but was so proud of his East London rootes and of course West Ham
I was and still am a Spurs boy but it never devided us in our friendship
This may be a bit out of order but when Art got married for the first time he phoned in a panic - his best man had gone missing a few hours before the service and he asked me if I could step up
I did the best I could and think it worked
Anyway dear Art no doubt you will be causing some sort of commotion wherever you are but I still remember these famous words
AND DAVID IS GOING TO BE FOOTBALLER - yes I was but that is another story
Rest in peace old mate we will catch up soon

Art was very much loved by me, his family and friends and has left a huge hole in my world, and the world of those who loved him. He loved life and lived it to the full.
I would like his funeral to be a celebration of his life and in this spirit, that is how we will say our goodbyes, so please wear something colourful if you wish, smile when you remember his life, his humour, his laugh and the good times we shared.
If you would like to upload any pictures, stories or memories to this site, I would love to share them with you.
Unfortunately, due to the current situation we find ourselves in, numbers are severely restricted, but for those of you who would have attended but can't, there is a live streaming of the service. Once the world gets back to normal, we shall have a proper celebration of his life!
I would like to thank everyone for their support which has kept me going and able to get through this difficult time, I could not have done this without you all.
With love
Sue
