In loving memory of Wendy Susan Kemp who sadly passed away on 23rd March 2020

My mum was amazing!! She had various careers throughout her life and each one she put her heart and soul into. Driving instructor, hairdresser, beauty therapist, media make up artist, dance shop owner, quality engineer.... the list goes on!
Her best job being a mum and grandma. Everything my mum did was for me or violet. We travelled the country doing dancing festivals and London regularly for my ballet. Mum even got into the horses and had a go at owning her own horse. My mum taught me to never give up, keep strong and be brave and these were lessons my mum displayed throughout her own life.
My mum loved her motorbikes and playing guitar. She was determined to do a gig and her friends from her work formed a band and made that happen for her 50th birthday.
Then over the last few years mum reignited her love of art. Mum had done some beautiful pieces and these will be cherished. Nothing ever seemed to challenge her she just had this natural talent.
Mum had an infectious smile and literally touched everyone’s hearts that she has met through her life. To see such lovely tributes on social media just proved what a kind, caring lady she really was.

Mum promised she would stay with me and violet always and we will live our lives that will make you proud mum.

I had the pleasure of working with Wendy and the rest of my family also knew her, either through work or helping her with her horse. Wendy was a dear friend and work colleague and I am a better person for knowing her. She will never be forgotten and I am making a donation on behalf of my family and I.

Those we love
don't go away,
they walk beside us
every day.......
unseen, unheard,
but always near,
still loved,
still missed
and very dear.

To me, Wendy has been the most kind, funny, inspirational, influential, clever, amazing work colleagues, but most importantly, a really good friend. I had so much respect for her and looked up to her like she was ten feet tall. Her 'work family' has raised almost £400 in her honour ... a memorial garden bench with a plaque inscribed ...'A "work mum" to us all at Air Salvage International...you will never be forgotten' has been purchased and placed in an outdoor rest area at work, and the remainder will be donated to Blue Cross...a sign of how loved she was by us all.
Rest in Peace beautiful Wendy xxx
