Dear All,
On Friday the 13th my beautiful husband lost his 11 month tough fight to brain cancer. He stayed at home until the night before for which I am grateful. He fought with every inch of he’s being with every breath he took. He so desperately wanted to see his children grow up. He gave me the best life I could have asked for and two very beautiful children and lovely stepdaughter.
Thank you Michael for sharing your life with me and for loving me. Thank you for giving me our beautiful children and for always being there for me, for being the best dad to your children the loveliest brother to your sisters, the funniest uncle to your nieces and nephew, the perfect son to your mum and dad, the most wonderful husband I could have asked for and the most amazing friend to anyone who was lucky to have you in their life. Your wings may have been ready but our hearts were not.
Your were the kindest most caring person I have ever had the privilege to meet. Always had a smile on your face and always so positive even through this illness you have kept positive and refused to give in. I hope our children grow up to have all your wonderful qualities. Everyone that had you in their life were truly blessed and I was blessed the most to have called you my husband and my best friend was an honour.
I love you my gorgeous husband. 💔
Please note due to all this madness we are only allowed to have immediate family only at his funeral. I will arrange a memorial service for all his family and friends in the future and hopefully we will be able to celebrate his life and the true gentleman he was together.
An obituary has been set up in Michael’s name with some charities that Michael felt very passionate about. I know times are hard for people right now so if do want to contribute that will be great but most importantly we would like you to share any memories particularly funny ones of Michael you may have (I’m sure you all have a few) and any photos would be amazing. If we get enough I will make a book for his three children to have as a keepsake of their Dad. So please please start sharing.
Many thanks Natalie x
