In loving memory of Dereck Smith who sadly passed away on 8th March 2020.
Dereck was a loving husband to Enid, proud father and grandfather, loyal brother and good mate. He will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him.
As you are all probably aware, Dereck latterly suffered bravely with Bladder Cancer and Parkinsons Disease; consequently, any donations that anyone wishes to make will be split between Cancer Research UK and Parkinson's UK.
Owing to the current COVID-19 crisis we hope you will all recognise the difficult decision we have to accept with respect to minimising mourners at the funeral service to immediate family only for the safety of everyone.

Terrence and Frances Manning donated £20 in memory of Dereck

In loving memory of Dereck, rest in peace.
Terrence and Frances.

Uncle Dereck

Happy memories of our family holidays together, especially the time in Wales we spent every evening playing badminton on the back lawn and ruined the grass. Many family Christmases together playing cards. Thank you for teaching us how to play crib. 15 2, 15 4 and a pair makes 6.

RIP Uncle Dereck. We will miss you.

Lots of Love

Sally, Lauren & James. xxxx

Remembering all the good times we had together when we were younger, like football and cricket in the passage and racing buggy carts. Remembering the bad winter of 1947 when we built sledges and had snowball fights with friends in the street.

Will miss you brother.

RIP.

Love Mick. xxxx

Uncle Dereck, (Del-boy)
I remember all the good and happy times we had growing up, family holidays, Christmases and the old fashioned Sunday’s out at Sandringham - “Dad’s against boys” at football and cricket. Then pubs stops on the way home with coke and a bag of nuts!!!!
Uncle Dereck, you were one of the best. I never knew you to be anything other than happy and jokey.
Rest in Peace Uncle Dereck.
We will never forget you.
We love you.
From Paul, Jude, Haydn and Harry.

we miss your smile, your humour and your sense of mischief.
I will always remember the twinkle in your eye and the mischievous smile on your face when you were having one of us on.
The girls adored you and you always watched with delight whilst they showed you their latest dances.
Thank you for being a fabulous Grandad and Father in law may you rest in peace .
Love Michelle, Jasmine and Maddison xxx
