Sending love to John,Beth and Jack for tomorrow on what will be a very difficult day without your friends and family by your side to join you in saying goodbye to Therese. I loved Therese so very much, she was a beautiful, elegant and kind lady with a little twinkle in her eye and a warm loving heart. Always enjoyed sharing a few glasses of champagne with her and hope we can all get together soon to raise a few more glasses and give a wonderful woman the send off she deserves. All my love Cornelia x

With my sincere condolences to Jean-Marc and family and my dear Michèle-Ann. Although we are not able to attend funeral due to the pandemic, we will be in spirit taking time to reflect on Marie-Therèse, tomorrow at noon. A great character, fun, loved a good glass of Champ, toujours French savoir-faire but no doubt her Polish roots and stoicism prevailed at all times. Rest in peace MTO. Xxx

Our sincere condolences to John, Michele-Ann, Beth and Jack. Marie - Therese had inherent French elegance and charm. She had a great sense of humour, which she certainly needed with John! We always enjoyed seeing her, and a favourite memory is when Ann and Beth spent a great day with her going to Calais to stock up on French wine and look at clothes.

I am sorry we can not be with you tomorrow and will be thinking of you.

Love Ann and Richard

Ever since Marie-Therese, our "Voisine du palier" moved North, we have missed our frequent "Aperitif Dinatoire", French conversation and the warmth of her friendship which we enjoyed over four years.
She courageously bore her various ailments with a slightly wicked sense of humour and great fortitude. Now that she has found final peace we continue to treasure her memory.

We extend our greatest sympathy and condolences to her family,

Adieu Marie- Therese!

See below a message from Edward and Marianne Cohen (Ealing, London W5):

We learned with great sadness of your mother’s passing
She had been a good neighbour for over 40 years and tolerated our execrable attempts at speaking French with gentle correction
We have missed her greatly since she moved north and we extend to the family our deepest sympathy may she rest in peace.
