A fond farewell to John Yanzu who, at 40yrs old, sadly passed away at Queens Hospital on 2nd March 2020 with his loving wife at his side.
Soul mate of Beata, devoted father to Eunice jr, Natashia and Antek.
Adored son of Stephen Morkeh and Mary Yanzu.
Beloved brother to Eunice, Victoria, Joseph, Samuel, Dorcas and Stephen Abekah Yanzu.
A sadly missed brother in law, uncle and nephew.
A valued member of the family to his cousins, nieces and relatives.
A cherished and loyal friend to many.
He will be sorely missed by his local Horninglow congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
John was an incredibly kind and warm hearted individual. A true Gentleman, who faced his last journey with courage, dignity and grace.
John had a strong belief in the resurrection hope. He knows that he will be back again with his family and friends in paradise which is just around the corner.
Acts 24:15
‘And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous’
Revelations 21:4
‘And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.’
Please note that there will not be a gathering after the service on Saturday as originally planned. There will be a memorial service and gathering to celebrate John's life which will be organised at a later date.
