I spent many happy hours playing Badminton with Jack at Eastwood BC, and I can say without contradiction that he was one of the nicest people that I have the pleasure to meet.
In all these years, although he was a keen competitor, he never ever treated an opponent or partner unfairly or raised his voice in rebuke. He always had a smile and a cheery word, a true gentleman!
He will be missed.
His legacy will continue through Brenda, their children and grandchildren.

Great memories of my uncle Jack – tennis and badminton at the club, carpet bowls at the house, and of course his brilliant jive at all the weddings. So sorry I cannot attend due to the coronavirus. Will be thinking of you all.

I will always remember Jack playing badminton and then supporting and encouraging his Grandchildren always with a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. He will be missed.
