John William Tew sadly passed away surrounded by family at his bed side on Monday 24th February at Kettering General Hospital.

"As I sat beside your bedside, my heart was crushed and sore, I did my duty to the end till I could do no more; in tears I saw you sinking and slowly fade away, although my heart was breaking, I knew you could not stay; but when I saw you sleeping, so peacefully free from pain, I knew I could not wake you to suffer once again. God bless you." from your loving 'two foot' wife.

Please join us on Friday 20th March at 2pm to say goodbye to John Tew, husband, father, grandad and friend. Cremation will take place at Warren Hill Crematorium.

Afterwards, we would like everyone to join us in celebrating John’s life at the Irish Centre from 3pm onwards. Tea / coffee will be supplied and the bar will be open for you to purchase drinks. A light buffet will also be provided.

You were as honest and open as any man I've met. I valued being alongside you as a campaigner: you inspired trust and comradeship. We will miss you so much.
