We have many nice memories of Sarah but especially of the week she stayed with us in 2006 in our house in Spain. We swam and walked a lot, Sarah, then very fit, did 5000 steps before breakfast and the remaining 5000 steps we walked together. She was very helpful in our garden and we remember her enthusiasm telling us about the garden in Fairfield that she had then re-organized. She did so many artistic and creative things.
We remember a nice day visiting Jennifer’s Studio, with Sarah knitting there followed by lunch all together. That same day we took Sarah over to Sam's house and met Angela for the first time, Aimee and William so happy to see their Grandma!
We remember a place out somewhere in our younger days where Sarah cooked and catered and she made us a lovely lunch. She, together with Angela George, made lovely buttons and she had a passion for weaving too. We enjoyed visiting the National Trust Gardens with Sarah and mother George. That was in the time when Sarah looked after her mother 3 days per week, mother George getting older and not fitter and still living on her own in Markham Ave. She took care of mother George's house amazingly well and also her belongings after mother George had died, making sure everybody received beloved items. The coming time will not be easy for Sarah’s children and grandchildren. We wish you lots of courage for all the moments you will miss your Mum and Grandma
