On 14th February 2020, peacefully in hospital, of Hanging Heaton, Dewsbury, aged 84 years, Marlene: dearly loved wife of David; much loved mother of Matthew, Alexander, Daniel and Benjamin; a very dear and loved mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother.
Funeral service will take place at St Paul’s Church, Hanging Heaton on Friday 6th March 2020 at 1pm followed by a private committal. Friends please accept this intimation and meet at the church. In accordance with the family’s wishes, guests are invited to take the opportunity to wear items of clothing coloured purple or green. Family flowers only please; donations in lieu may be placed in the collection box provided or sent to George Brooke Ltd, Funeral Directors, for the benefit of Sands (Stillbirth and Neo-natal Death Charity)
