In loving memory of the late David Keast who sadly passed away, peacefully, on 21st April 2015.

Loving husband to Ann, beloved dad to Rachel and Joanne, father-in-law to John and Andy, much loved grandad to Luke and Adam.
David's funeral service will take place at Bretby Crematorium on Thursday 7th May at 1.30pm.
Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to Action on Hearing Loss (formerly RNID) and The Myasthenia Gravis Association.

David was an optimistic, kind gentleman, with a great sense of humour and was loved by family and friends.

He was an Engineer by profession, having gained his Batchelor's Degree from Liverpool University. David married Ann in 1965, they moved to Ashby and David took a job at British Coal's Central Engineering Establishment in Bretby working on the development of new mining technologies.

David loved nature and the outdoors and the family spent many happy holidays together in the Lake District, Devon and Cornwall exploring hills and valleys, beaches and cliff tops.

He retired in 1986 and spent many cheerful, busy years as a member of Ashby Guild of Artists and playing Bowls both indoor and outdoor. He was a member of Ashby Probus and often enjoyed a pint of Pedigree at the Bull and Lion in Packington. David and Ann loved travelling together and were lucky enough to visit many beautiful places in Europe and further afield exploring cities and countryside and following their interest in architecture, history and walking.

A good man, a great Dad. A life well lived.
