Remembering you today John, music teacher at Shoeburyness High School in the 1970s. Thinking of the memories of our Madrigal Choir, concerts, plays and a lifelong, continued enjoyment of the music you taught us to sing. Thank you John 🎶

So sorry to hear of the passing of John. He was my teacher for many years at Shoeburyness Comprehensive and one of the nicest people you could ever know. You are all in my thought RIP John x

John, you brought sunshine into our lives with you music and just being you. You made me strive to be the best i could be with encouragement and kindness. I will remember you in ever Last Post, every old time musical song ( you would whisper the bawdy history of each at just the right moment) and of course the old traditional hymns that our Memory Worship family requested every month. We will miss you dear friend.

You brightened everyone's lives with your wonderfully happy disposition and the sharing of your great musical talent. You gave of your time so freely to so many, including entertaining our residents at Nazareth house with our accordions It was the greatest privilege to have known you. A legend and a truly great and humble gentleman who showed love to so many whose lives you touched. Sincere condolences to the family.

I am so sorry not to be able to attend the funeral of one of my dearest friends. My thoughts and prayers will be with you tomorrow.
