So sad to hear of Alan's passing, such a lovely man. Hadn't seen him in a while as I'd had to give up shows a couple yrs back so it was just f'bk. As he knew I always had a big hug or two I send you all huge hugs of love and strength xxx

We are so sad at the news - I knew Alan was ill, but didn't know things had reached this point. Alan was a dear friend - first as an exhibitor at our BSSK shows, then for a few years as a volunteer steward at the shows, and afterwards as a friend, mainly via FB messages more recently. Unfortunately our own poor health means we cannot attend the funeral, but our thoughts will be with all the family at this sad time. I am sure Alan's Angels came to meet him and that he is now smiling down on us all
