In loving memory of Judie Wilson who, sadly, passed away on 3rd February 2020, surrounded by her family.

Judie was thoughtful, kind and caring. She was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all.

Her funeral service will be held at Southend Crematorium West Chapel on Friday 21st February 2020 at 2.40pm; Judie and Mike were married 44 years ago on this day.

Following the funeral, a gathering will be held from 3.30pm at the RBG Grill, Park Inn by Radisson Palace, Church Road, Southend-0n-Sea, SS1 2AL. This overlooks the pier and the seafront where Judie had many fond memories. There is plenty of parking in the town; the closest car parks are The Royals and Seaway.

All who knew her are welcome to attend the funeral and to join the family afterwards at the Park Inn. Please let us know if you will be attending so that we can welcome you as she would have wanted.

Flowers or donations to the Southend Toy Library are welcomed on the day or via this page.

For my dear friend Judie,
You were quite simply the kindest, caring, loving & most gentle & generous soul. I will always have the happiest memories of our time working together at The Lighthouse Centre especially in those early days. I would be in the playroom preparing for the day & I would hear you arrive your keys in hand & see you with all your bags ( no doubt one of which would contain cake & biscuits) What Happy times they were! The Centre was so vibrant, family friendly & full of joy.
You dedicated your life tirelessly in helping others by giving kindness, compassion, love & support to all the amazing children & their families .
You were always a fantastic friend to me & a huge support with our Therapy through Play Groups. Happy times indeed which I will cherish forever.
The service on Friday was beautiful & an amazing tribute to a wonderful lady.
You would have been so proud of Michael, your girls & Stephen. Heaven has most definitely gained the most precious soul.
With my love always Sarah Johnson & family x x

Sorry we couldn’t be there. Such a wonderful lady who touched so many lives. Have many memories where Judie’s smile and cup of tea made how I was feeling that little bit easier.
