Norrie was more like a brother than an uncle to us growing up. He was always there for us then, and in later years. We loved having him visit us in SA and have many fond memories of his visits. He was the last of his kind a man who always looked out for everyone. I was so happy to have spent some time with him last year and will always treasure that time spent. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. You truly lost one of a kind. from your South African family

One of the good guys, will never forget the times we spent back in the sixties and seventies doing whatever we fancied getting up to. Danced our way round The Gamp, The place, The Top Storey and countless other places. Drank in any bar that we were not barred from, thank goodness Charlie opened up some bars so we had somewhere to go...Thanks Norrie, thanks for calling me buddy, the pleasure was mine......
