Uncle Pete when I think of you it is with lovely memories. You and Auntie Pat were a big part of my life growing up and I remember it all with smiles, laughter and love. We had great sleep overs, which often involved weekends away on the river Trent to remote retreats further afield on the Island of Shuna, Scotland. I traveled in your lorry and thought I was very special, stopping for breakfast butties and endless cups of tea, at the best of places. We had amazing BBQ’s and lots of dinner parties where you cooked amazing food; the rib eye steak was the best. You continued the tradition of BBQ’s and bonfires with my children, which they also remember growing up. Rest in peace.

Love Elaine and John xx

Uncle Pete you have the biggest belly laugh I’ve ever heard. It travelled with you in every situation. You thought your jokes were the funniest and you were the biggest wind up merchant. Your bonfire parties were epic and you and Aunty Pat just loved us all. I’m so glad you got to meet both my boys and we had that time together. Xxx

I will miss the loudest laugh in the room and being able to watch from a distance and crack up as he purposely makes his way around the room winding people up and I will also miss not being able to take my boyfriends round so he can approve of them or tell me to get rid.
Happy memories of growing up being excited for family bbqs with Uncle Pete, Aunty Pat, Jodie and Toby X

Lots of fond memories of being taken for an Indian meal with you and Aunty Pat, fighting over who's turn it was to stay, cups of tea from the teas maid, telling me off because I put your cheese on toast on top of each other and telling me to eat and put a bit of meat on my bones. (Big steaks)

Goodnight and God Bless uncle Pete xxxx

Sorry to hear this Jodie, condolences to your mum also. Your dad was such a lovely man. I'll never forget him for being one of the first people to not only tell me but show me the love of Jesus. His kindness made an impact on my life more than he will ever know xx
