In loving memory of Joe Purdue who sadly passed away on 21st January 2020.
Born in Dublin and moving to Coventry when a cheeky lad.
He met Chris when she was only 15 and they married when she was 17 (everyone giving it 6 months!) and we almost made it to 55 years! He worked at GEC (Marconi) most of his life and for a short time at Expert in Coventry. He was a wonderful talker, joker and playmate to all the children. Mark and Shelley were his beloved children, who have many happy memories of him and grandad to Liam and Ollie. He has lived his life devoting any spare time he had to horses with Shelley, moto cross bikes with Mark, football with Liam and campfires and being an idiot with Ollie! He was the love of my life and always will be and I miss him so much and although he always got the last laugh I have beaten him for once - for the first time I have the remote control!!

He was like my second dad and he made my childhood amazing and was the best friend to my dad that anyone could ever wish for . Love you
