Baker Douglas - Passed away peacefully at Pennsylvania House Residential Home, on Tuesday April 1st 2014, aged 92 years. Much loved and sadly missed by all his friends at Pennsylvania House. Funeral Service will be held at the Higher Cemetery Chapel, on Wednesday April 23rd at 1.30pm.

I knew Douglas for 10 years when I worked at Elmside Lodge Residential Home in Exeter, he was a wonderful quiet gentleman who would always help out in the kitchen etc, he enjoyed his Sunday outings to Belmont Chapel and Glasshouse lane during the week.
I remember Douglas showing me a picture of himself as a young lad in the thirtys on a pick nick with his parents with their old motorcar in the background, that picture will always stick in my mind.
RIP Douglas.
