An outstanding example to all for his integrity, strength and decency. Michael stood up strait for his high principles. He put his family first and himself second.

Michael: "Do you work in the city?"
Dawn: "No, west end"
Michael: "Ah what shop do you work in then..?"

ha ha Michael Murrell infectiously funny ;)

Such a warm hearted & fun guy. The world will be a duller place without you, and I will especially miss the way that you say "Ber-nice"

Love Dawn, Jack, Isaac & young Samuel xxx

  • PS I've just remembered the 'Dance Mat' competition that I involved the whole family in around Sue & Steve's one Christmas - including Michael! Ha ha I think he was the runner up (not due to his style or finesse but due to his precision & timing)!! A lovely memory, thank you xxx

He was my Grandad
He was 77
And I was 11
He was my Grandad
He was old and wise
And I was young and still learning
One day he got sick with cancer
I had hoped he would survive
He was my Grandad
I was with him everyday
He was my Grandad
I was there with him just before he left
He was my Grandad
But even more he was my Best Friend
I love you Grandad
Watch me from the stars
Lots of Love
Antonia

I came into your family, not knowing what I'd find I was nervous and afraid but your humour eased my mind.

Dearest Michael,

Such a brave man, always smiling and cracking jokes.

The Best Grandfather to Louie and Antonia that anyone could ever wish for and a Fantastic Father in law to me. We will all miss you terribly, but your daft humour will live on through Tim, Nick, Louie and Antonia x
Rest In Peace
