Ann Barter (24 Sep 1927 - 29 Nov 2019)

BARTER Ann Passed away peacefully at Dove Tree House, Exeter, on Friday 29th November 2019, aged 92 years.
Very loved and cherished member of the Barter family and a loving friend to the late Jean Hill and her family.
Trained at St. Thomas Hospital, London, Ann became a Midwife at the Nursing Sisters of St. John the Divine in Deptford. Later she moved to Devon and continued her sister duties at The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, becoming assistant Matron.
She was a very loyal member of Exeter Cathedral, with roles including Eucharist Minister, chair of the Tapisers and Flower Arrangers.
She will be sadly missed by her many family and numerous friends countrywide.
The funeral service will take place at Exeter Cathedral on Wednesday 11th December at 3:00pm, followed by a private cremation.
