In loving memory of Betty Burns who sadly passed away on 17th November 2019
Betty was born in Portsmouth and attended the Portsmouth Northern Grammar School. She worked in the accounts department of the Naval Dockyard from 1940-1955, where she met her husband, Dennis Cluett Burns. After their marriage, Betty managed the accounts for the family printing and commercial stationery business, Cluett Burns Limited. Dennis died in 1999 and Betty continued to run the business until she retired in her mid-80s. Betty and Dennis had one daughter, Elizabeth, and one granddaughter, Natasha.
