Thank You Myton, McMillan and our beloved NHS. The teams have been not just life saving at times but more importantly life changing and improving. This is a fraction of the support that you will have from me for the rest of my life.

Dear Family & Friends,

Thank You for all the support Judi & the Family have received over the last few years. We take this opportunity to inform our many friends that Judi died peacefully at home on Sunday 24th November. Many thanks to all of you for the kind thoughts, visits and messages that were such a comfort.

Judi’s funeral will be held at 11am on Friday 29th for family & Friends. Details on link. Followed by a reception afterwards at The Seven Stars, Albert Square, Rugby. (Parking at nearby public carpark)

Judi’s wish was to only receive flowers from Olivia & Jack. Without obligation or expectation, any donations will be gratefully received. We include a link with Gift Aid to the Myton Hospice. Alternatively, a donation box will be at the reception for an informal trust fund for the children: The “Dad said no, Mum would have said yes” Fund; to be managed by the Aunties.

We would be grateful if you could pass this message along to anyone who knew Judi well and would like to join the family in our celebration of her life.

  • IMPORTANT UPDATE: Judi's wish was for guests at the funeral and reception to wear a splash of colour. She wanted the dress code to be similar to that of her birthday party/ living wake that we had in July. Please, do not feel the need to purchase anything special (she would not have wanted that). Smart casual as though you were coming to her celebration which of course you are. If you are more comfortable wearing some black or all black, of course, this is welcome too. Olivia, Jack and I will be wearing a colour. The service will be a Humanist ceremony to reflect the beliefs of Judi, Olivia, Jack and myself. Reflection and silent prayer time will be a part of the service to accommodate all faiths and to ensure everyone's comfort. Please share this message with others in the hope it will reach all those who may need to know and please forgive the late notice.
