In loving memory of Pete Blackman who sadly passed away on 13th November 2019. A Loving and wonderful husband to Annette, dad to Tracy and Grandad to Olivia. Brother of Stephen, Angela and Richard.
A perfect family man who loved and cared for his family. A real gentleman, who loved to sing and took so much pride in singing with his other family The Grand Central Chorus.
This wonderful man will be greatly missed by all that knew him but will never be forgotten.

When I first met Peter I was a typist and he was such a lovely friendly and polite man who wasn't supposed to come direct to me to have his work typed but he did and he did it with a cheeky smile which I will remember always. After leaving that job I kept in touch and then had the pleasure of meeting his lovely wife Annette who also welcomed me into their family along with my little boy many years later. I also had the pleasure of seeing Peter perform his barbershop songs which he absolutely adored doing and you could see the pleasure in his face when he was performing those songs. He was one of the most friendliest kindest men I have had the pleasure to know and I am so sorry that he is no longer with us. Unfortunately I cannot attend the service as I have the school run to do but his family will be in my thoughts when they say a final goodbye. I hope that he will enjoy performing in the afterlife and that he is no longer in pain.
