I know I’m late behind but I only just found out by accident I want to say I was one of bobs students and he was a legend when I did my leg inn or even when I fell a sleep in class because I was working at night or when another student was calling me all hours of the night he supported me and I always said he was the best tutor at Prc and I always remembered him plus when I did year 2 I asked Darren what happened to bob and he said he retired so I said when you see him or talk to him say hi for me. I’m going to miss him dearly and I’m sorry for your loss. Sending my sympathy’s to the family xxxx

Dad
Dad, how we have cried
The twinkle in your eyes so blue
The way you looked at us with pride
That strength of embrace, could only be you
Gone but not forgotten

The mischief in your smile
‘Local lad not begging’
The same old jokes for a while
The pig with the leg pegging
Gone but not forgotten

Your strength of character shone through
A trade unionist, principled and strong
For the many not the few
You made all feel they did belong
Gone but not forgotten

Your tender and graceful dancing
From waltzes to quick stepping
Your fearless rugby tackling
Followed by trips to Sister Downing
Gone but not forgotten

An honourable man
A lifetime you committed to judo
Awarded your 4th Dan
Blessed by your teaching others now grow
Gone but not forgotten

Auctions, car boots, charity shopping
Fates with bric-a-brac
Your treasures left eyes popping as Mum hoped you wouldn’t buy our tat back
Gone but not forgotten

You travelled far and wide
But nowhere compared to Cromer
BBQ burning, beer at your side
Caravan and body warmer
Gone but not forgotten

A talented musician
Harmonica and penny whistle for would play
All loved to hear your rendition
As they would quietly pray
Gone but not forgotten

Christmas mornings were a treat
Mum’s present always unique
Whilst sharing your Quality Street
They were the cause of much critique
Gone but not forgotten

Undoubtedly the thing you most treasured
Was your family and friends
For us your love could not be measured
It had no ends

Not gone not forgotten
But alive within our hearts and souls
Part of all we do as we aim for our goals

Goodbye Grandpa have a good time in heaven. Grandpa is good at dancing when he isn’t poorly. You love chocolate. You are funny and make me laugh. You are kind because you took me on holiday on an aeroplane. I liked it when you went on the tea cups with me. I love you so much. I will love you forever. You are the best Grandpa ever. From Chloe

Dear Grandpa I hope you have a nice time watching us up in heaven. I love you so much and I will miss you. Grandpa I will think of happy thoughts of you like when we went on the aeroplane and you were my ice cream buddy. I will really miss you and I wish you weren’t poorly and you could stay here with us. I loved it when you were in your motor home and we were in our caravan. Thank you for being the best Grandpa. Love from Rachel

We have known Bob and Pat over the last 10 years. They attended our Folk Club at The Falcon Hotel Whittlesey. He was a very talented musician and singer, and loved to join in,They regularly came to the Thursday dance sessions at The Manor in Whittlesey, and we were so impressed with his wonderful style, and even when Bob began to forget the dances, he still danced with that same style.
He will be greatly missed by everyone.
