David Moorhouse (29 Aug 1958 - 4 Apr 2015)

In loving memory of the late David Moorhouse who sadly passed away on 4th April 2015

David was a private man who shared his love of the family with many kind gestures and good deeds in his own way. David was born in Northallerton and might perhaps be a stereotypical Yorkshireman, for those of you who have experienced one. He was less forthright with his emotive language towards adults and in that respect he would most often says things as he sees it, being pragmatic and direct. With his children he would pretend to be that stereotype and at first be stern, then laugh at the response and then be warm and loving all within 5 seconds.

The fundamental question now that he is gone is how are we going to live without him? How are we to deal with that loss and go on with our lives without his continued contribution to them? This is especially true for Jessica and Joanna David's girls, we can help by rallying around Jeannette to support her in our individual ways. We will not get over this loss, but we will all learn to live with it by cherishing our memories of him. By keeping David in our thoughts and celebrating his life, we will make our lives more meaningful.
