In loving memory of Terri Stevenson who sadly passed away on 8th November 2019. Terri was a wonderful wife, mum, nana, sister and friend and will be sorely missed. She was the kindest, most selfless person you could possibly meet who always lived life to the full with a huge smile on her face and usually a glass of red in hand! Nothing will ever replace her, her big heart, her sense of adventure, her love for life, family and friends but we are so blessed that she was in our lives.
We know mum would love everyone she knew and cared about to come and celebrate her life so please do join us on Monday 25th November at 2pm at Rainsbrook Crematorium. This will be followed by a local burial at Greenhaven Woodland Burial Ground at approx. 3pm, unfortunately due to the size and location of the burial this will be for family only. This will be followed by a Wake at the Red Lion Pub in Crick at around 3.30pm and we would love for you to join us there to remember Terri and raise a glass to her wonderful life.
Mum has always requested bright colours and a celebration of a life well lived so please no black where possible. Also, for those attending the burial, be aware this will be a woodland burial with long grass and mud, appropriate footwear for the weather and location is necessary, wellies and boots!
If you wish to say goodbye to mum in advance of the funeral, you are able to do this by visiting Towers Funeral Directors in Crick by prior arrangement - their contact details can be found on this site. Visiting hours are 9 to 5 Mon to Fri, weekends on special request. Mum can be visited up to around an hour prior to us leaving for the service.
We will only be having family flowers as we know mum would have preferred donations to Breast Cancer Research and the British Lung Foundation - two charities close to her heart and the former she fundraised for through her numerous moonwalks. You are able to make donations through this site or on the day.
One of Mum's favourite quotes to leave you with:-
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”"
