RIP Jeff – your work is done. Over the years you have enriched the lives of many Boreham residents and left a large pair of shoes for your son to fill. A true character who will be much missed.

I remember the very first time I visited the Queens Head.
It must have been sometime in 2002.
I know it was a Friday afternoon.

So I got to the pub and Jeff was serving. And there were a few people drinking.

I walked up to the bar and Jeff welcomed me very friendly and introduced himself and the people at the bar. Peter, Peter, Danny, Peter and Peter.

And then he asked me my name.
So, as there were 5 people in the pub, of which 4 were called Peter, I jokingly said: "My name is Peter."

Jeff and Danny and the Peter's called me Peter for weeks. When I told Jeff that my name wasn't Peter really he laughed his head of.

What I am trying to say is that Jeff is one of the most welcoming people I know with a, sometimes, wicked and always brilliant sense of humor. A true character.

You will be missed, Jeff.
Rest in Peace.

Our thoughts are with Kim, Ben and Albie, Max, Jess, Poppy and Vinny.
