I joined the Chesterfield Astronomical Society in 1975 when Frank was the Treasurer and one of the leading lights of the Society. It was always interesting as a young person (then!) going to the observatory and listening to their conversations and memories with the other founding members.
Sadly missed, my condolences from all of us at the Observatory.
